Chantal (Foodie Beauty)

Primary-source archive article. This article is assembled solely from Chantal’s own public statements, YouTube/Kick livestreams, community posts, and Instagram captions preserved in this archive. It is not an independent biography, a court record, or a reaction-channel timeline. Diagnoses, weights, legal claims, relationships, and outcomes appear only as she narrated them on camera or in posts. Contradictions across streams are preserved rather than “resolved.” Citation forms follow CITATION.md: (VIDEO_ID @ M:SS), [undefined], [undefined].

Chantal, better known online as Foodie Beauty, is a Canadian YouTuber, livestreamer, and occasional softcore entrepreneur whose decade-long career has been less a channel and more a continuously renewed meal-kit subscription to her own life. What began as Boxing Day Lush hauls and mermaid eyeshadow evolved into late-night car mukbangs, multi-year relationship novels, Middle Eastern couple vlogs, Kick marathons on a mobility scooter, and a medical chart long enough to wallpaper a thrombosis clinic—all filmed, most of it mid-bite. [1] [2] [3]

By her own account she was born March 28, 1984, raised in the Cornwall–Ottawa corridor by a teen single mother nicknamed “Smee,” kicked out as a teenager, reformed by a government youth program, and eventually built an audience on the improbable product of watching someone large eat something while renegotiating every label attached to the show. Partners came and went under a rotating cast of nicknames; the cats often had better brand continuity. She has described herself as a self-employed creator, a severe food addict, a wife who may or may not still be filing divorce papers, and—when the ads go dark—a woman routing tips to PayPal and lives to Kick while still insisting YouTube is home. [4] [5] [3]

The internet, in her telling, has treated her as victim, villain, and free content simultaneously. She has confessed teen theft, a camping-trip chemical résumé, false copyright strikes “out of anger,” a three-day OnlyFans that made a thousand dollars and a lot of mess, and a 2026 “wellness call” she frames as stalking with a badge. She has also published blood-clot updates, a total hysterectomy recovery arc, diabetes injectables, and the recurring promise that this lifestyle change would stick. The archive does not independently verify any of it. It only records that she said it, often with a Philly cheesesteak in frame. [6] [7] [8]

Early life and family

Chantal’s origin story, as told by Chantal, is a Canadian greatest-hits package: teen pregnancy, French immersion, “welfare girl” bullying, couch-surfing, a government youth program that allegedly fixed her personality, and enough family nicknames to stock a Dickens novel. Almost none of it arrives with paperwork. Almost all of it arrives mid-mukbang.

Birth, names, height

By her most detailed account she was born March 28, 1984, at 12:20 a.m., weighing eight pounds thirteen ounces, via cesarean because her head would not cooperate with her mother’s birth canal; her grandmother later made a ceramic shoe (or “baby booty”) painted with the stats [11] [11] [22]. She has also said she was born at midnight, “I think it was 12:02,” and self-corrected a birth weight from eight pounds to eight pounds ten ounces [22] [22]. Same head, three different baby-book entries: the first of many self-audits.

The birthday itself is consistent across years: “March 28th is my birthday” [4]; Peetz has confirmed the same date on joint streams [23] [24]. Age claims line up with 1984—32, turning 33 [25]; “I'm 33” mid-2017 [26]; turning 35 around late March 2019 [27]; 42 by 2026 [28] [29]. She has described herself as an Aries with a possible Taurus moon—astrology as personality packaging [4].

She uses Chantal, Foodie Beauty, and the channel name Chantal Marie [9] [26] [10]. Her commonly accepted middle name is Marie, also used in the Instagram catalog fullName Chantal Marie [30]. In one ASR-garbled 2017 Q&A she also claimed Olive as a middle name [9]; this article preserves “Olive” as a contradictory self-statement, not as the established middle name. Her surname is Sarault, also visible when she reads a delivery notification addressed to “Chantal Sarault” [31]. She nicknames her mother “Smee”—Peter Pan by way of Ottawa kitchen [11] [12].

She has said she was baptized Christian/Catholic and had a lot of baby hair [11]. Mom curled her bangs for first communion and other Catholic calendar events—Mom “stuck in the 80s” with a curling iron that would later scar the birthday narrative [32].

Height is repeatedly self-reported as 5′1″—“very short,” “short and round,” goal weight framed for that height [9] [12] [33]. In a 2020 Torrid try-on she upgraded herself to “like five foot two” [13]. Shoe size has been given as 9 wide in a haul [34] and Croc sandals 8W in a community post [35].

Hometown and background

She has named Cornwall, Ontario as her hometown and the place her bio dad lived during her teen couch-surfing years [5]. Later streams still treat Cornwall as family/dog/pizza magnet: wanting to rent a car to go to Cornwall and see Marshmallow (sister’s dog) [36] [37]; recalling walking “from one end of Cornwall to the other” [38]; COVID-era pizza-and-poutine nights in the Cornwall area with Peetz, including a takeout memory from living there with mom and brother [24].

Hometown geography in her telling is border-country: right on the US border, with a Mohawk/Native reserve between home and the States, and casino runs to the American side [39]. She has also placed an early single-mom apartment in Ottawa that she “still drive[s] by” [11], lived near Ottawa as an adult [33] [40], and once half-confirmed Quebec residence in chat while also saying Ontario [12] [12]—regional fluidity that matches a bilingual corridor more than a passport stamp.

Ethnicity, in her words: “not really anything,” Canadian; dad’s side French; grandma’s side Irish [6]. She has guessed at Irish ancestors via mom [41]. That is as close as the archive gets to “French Canadian”: French paternal line + French-language schooling + Christmas tourtière at mom’s, not a formal francophone self-ID speech [40].

Language and school track are clearer. Mom put her in all-French immersion / French Catholic elementary even though mom spoke no French; Chantal still speaks some French on stream [12] [40] [42]. High school: she chose French high school with one best friend, then transferred after bullying to an English-side friend group [42] [42]. Grade-7 ski trip memory places her on a bus toward Mont Tremblant, Quebec, complete with French-language taunting as Gros Chien Rouge / Clifford [43] [43].

Family

Mother — Anna / “Smee.” Mother’s given name on stream: Anna [40]. Nickname: Smee [11]. In the “story of my life” framing, Mom got pregnant in high school, a planned teen pregnancy after falling for Dad; hid the pregnancy until about six months; grandparents “flipped out”; Mom kept the baby, may have left high school, later went to college and graduated as a single mom, and “always worked” [11] [11] [11]. Elsewhere Chantal reduces the same origin to punchlines: “teenage pregnancy mistake” and “I was a teen pregnancy case” [44] [32]—planned miracle vs clerical error, depending on the camera day.

Early years: lived alone with Mom in a crappy building—fire alarms at night, pitch-black stairwells, no elevator; as a kid she felt protective of her young single mother and panicked when Mom was late for day-camp pickup [44] [45]. Mom loved throwing birthday parties, curled bangs for church holidays, once burned Chantal under the eye with a curling iron so she wore a patch on her 10th birthday [32] [32]. Mom shaped music taste (Bowie, Dio, Pink Floyd, etc.) and Mermaids movie nights [46]. Mom owns (or owned) a cat Angelle [47]. By 2026 Chantal still framed living near family—and Mom still texted cat opinions—as a reason to stay in Ottawa [48] [48].

Biological father. She does not really talk to her dad; she was raised by Mom and a “very awesome” stepdad [5]. Dad drank / was an alcoholic, parents did not get along, he lived hours away with a new family, and effort came in unreliable spurts [32] [32] [11]. She has self-applied “hashtag daddy issues” and “anger abandonment issues from my dad” [32] [5]. Adult geography: dad lived in Windsor, Ontario (formerly Cornwall) [5] [33].

A formative childhood visit: around age six to eight, Dad put on a Porky Pig–cased VHS that turned out to be porn; she frames it as her first introduction to pornography [32] [32]. Whether that is trauma processing or mukbang shock value is left, as usual, to the viewer’s cholesterol levels.

Stepdad. The “very awesome stepdad” who co-raised her [5] surfaces later as family-bubble BBQ host—stepdad’s birthday dinner she skipped steak for during COVID [49]. Given name is not cleanly fixed in high-signal extracts (party footage includes a “John” and “Dad” without full map) [50].

Sister — Bibi / “baby sis.” One sister with a different dad; in 2017 she said the sister was 21 and they were very close [9]. Instagram captions name her Bibi (wedding 2015 throwbacks; “me n sis”) [51] [52] [53]. Childhood photo caption: 12-year-old Chantal with baby sister [30]. Adult mentions: NYE dinner with mom, sister, sister’s boyfriend; sister’s birthday / VegFest plans; sister may want kids; sister’s dog Marshmallow in Cornwall [54] [55] [56] [37].

Naming collision: both her sister and long-term boyfriend were called Bibi; the partner was also shortened to BB [50]. Sister Bibi ≠ boyfriend Bibi; the archive is a nickname hazard zone.

Brothers. She has claimed two brothers, same dad, with so little contact that “I don’t even think they know I exist” [9]. Separately, Peetz-era Cornwall takeout memory: living with “my mom and my brother” [24]—which may be the maternal household’s brother rather than the distant paternal pair. The archive does not cleanly reconcile “two invisible brothers” with “lived with my brother.”

Grandparents and extended family. Maternal grandmother (“Grams”) is a recurring character: ceramics birth keepsake, grocery runs, Farm Boy aisles, hospital/palliative crisis, eventual death ~2021 after a midlife diagnosis that outran doctors’ timelines [22] [57] [58] [59] [48]. Young Chantal called her “mama”; grandmother had severe depression, was bedridden, and the illness strained the grandparents’ marriage toward separation [11] [18].

Grandfather / Gramps / “Frank” surfaces at a filmed birthday party with Uncle Steve, dogs Titan and Buster [50] [50]. Another grandfather lived in Albany / upstate New York and bankrolled a teen NYC Christmas trip with $100 USD [60] [60]. A Florida / Fort Myers grandpa is described as racist but fond of partner BB [12]. Paternal grandmother (dad’s side) babysat, cooked sweet-and-sour meatballs and Magic Moments pudding, and scolded extra-pudding demands when Chantal was ~5–6—framed as early food-addiction lore [43].

Childhood and education

Self-portrait age six-to-twelve: “kind of poor… not poverty but… not wealthy,” worst-part-of-town duplex, bedroom window facing a three-foot garbage alley of needles, maggots, fish heads [61] [61]. Family moved a lot [61]. She went through a phase of refusing to poop until she got sick, saw child psychologists, and was afraid of Enter Sandman / sleep [61] [61]. She has dated an unhealthy relationship with food / eating disorder to about age six [62] and said she has been overweight “for 30 years” (spoken at 33) [4].

Social life was not soccer. Preferred vibe: room, Smashing Pumpkins, Fear Street novels [45]. Day camp: last picked for sports, Giant Tiger jeans vs Levi’s clique, late Mom pickups scored to Bryan Adams [45] [45]. Grade 7 ski trip: mocked as Clifford the Big Red Dog in an all-red outfit, spent canteen money on mozzarella sticks, then a gastrointestinal disaster on the slopes [43] [43] [43]—a story she tells as comedy and as origin-of-addiction evidence in the same breath. She has also called herself a lifelong “fat kid” bullied for body image [60] [43].

Childhood cooking-show fantasy at grandmother’s kitchen prefigures the channel more accurately than any business plan [9].

French Catholic elementary through grade eight; then French high school, briefly, before transfer [42] [42]. Poverty aesthetics became bullying material: flea-market knockoff Tommy Hilfiger, labeled “the welfare girl” by a short “bulldog” mean-girl leader; Chantal later reported the bully for smoking a joint and got her suspended—“How do you like me now?” [42] [42] [42]. First high-school cannabis: too high, motion-sick, “passed out” kind of [42].

She was still in high school during the kicked-out period and says she finished school after Katimavik and a family New York trip [5] [5] [5].

Teen years: kicked out, group home, Katimavik

Around 15–16 she had a “loser boyfriend,” was rebellious and partying, and never got along with Mom as a teenager [5] [5]. Mom had warned that at 16 she would kick her out as tough love; after a night out, aunt relayed that Mom would call the cops if she did not leave; aunt bought groceries [5] [5]. Chantal frames the episode as “spoiled brat being homeless”—couch, not street—while still calling it homelessness [5] [5].

Sequence as told: friend’s party-pad couchbio dad in Cornwall (strict, with girlfriend; she stole quarters, wiped boogers on new leather couches, left) → another friend’s family → eventual New York family trip → Katimavik [5] [5] [5] [5]. Parallel winter-couch narrative: living on friend’s couch up the street from Mom, catfishing an online boyfriend Angelo while claiming to look like Mandy Moore, starving herself, then Christmas with grandpa in Albany and NYC [60] [60] [60].

Group home: she has said she lived in a group home when younger (~16); counselor Brenda; housemates who drank hairspray, stole makeup and Tupac CDs, fell asleep in spaghetti [61] [61] [61]. Elsewhere: counselors Debbie/Ray/Judy; she calls herself a “total fuck-up” of that era, then later says the group home was “one of the best experiences of my life” [63] [64]—standard Chantal dual ending. How the group-home stint interlocks with the dad/Cornwall/friend-couch timeline is not fully lined up on camera.

Katimavik (Canadian government-funded youth volunteer program): ~7 months, ~12 other youths, travel and volunteer work across Canada; she calls it her “life changer” and “saving grace” that “really made me grow up”; Mom saw the change, let her move back, she finished school and was “on the right track ever since” [5]. She later listed a planned story series: high school → Katimavik → meeting Peetz → Bibi [44]—as if the channel itself were a delayed yearbook.

Other teen danger-story content: the Clinton sticky-note / hunting-knife car ride at ~16 [65] [65]; underage cooler drinking after school [65]; a teen suicide gesture—emptied half a bottle of antidepressants (thinks Zoloft), told mother she took them for attention/power, then at hospital actually took some remaining pills before charcoal; never intended to die that time; warns suicidal viewers to get help [64].

Early jobs (pre-YouTube)

Work history, self-reported fragments:

AT&T wireless outsourcing call center in the hometown, night shift, with Peetz—high burnout; workplace affair gossip storytime [66] [67].

StarTech job while living with Peetz before they were a couple; era of an alcoholic boyfriend anecdote [68].

Psychiatric hospital administration on a mat-leave contract (and earlier “worked in a mental hospital” context) [6] [65].

• Generic customer service (customer once called her a “fucking hamster”) [41] [69].

• Pre-YouTube office job with “own office” and a welcome fruit basket—Instagram throwback [70].

• By mid-2017 she was between jobs, looking at work-from-home, and treating YouTube as emerging income (~$300/month AdSense early on) [40] [9].

• Later: rural after-hours / 911 dispatch with outdated maps she considered dangerous [71].

Peetz friendship roots claim high school / ~2002 [72]—the post-Katimavik social world that becomes the adult household drama.

Formative self-theory (and its contradiction)

Recurring self-theory inventory: teen-pregnancy origin / single-mom scarcity; father absence and alcoholism; poverty + body bullying; early food compulsion; kicked out at ~16 / unstable housing / group home; grandmother’s depression as family mental-illness backdrop [11] [32] [42] [62] [5] [11].

Counter-claim she has also made: watching My 600-lb Life, she insisted “nothing traumatic that I know of happened to me… I’m just a food addict” [6]. The same person who storytimed homelessness, porn-VHS Dad Night, and alley needles will, on another stream, file her entire childhood under “idk, snacks.” That contradiction is not a bug in the archive; it is the product.

Topic — Variant A — Variant B

Birth time — 12:20 a.m. [11] — ~12:02 / midnight [22]

Birth weight — 8 lb 13 oz [11] — 8 lb 10 oz after self-correction [22]

Height — 5′1″ (multiple 2017 lives) — “like five foot two” [13]

Conception framing — Planned high-school pregnancy [11] — “Teenage pregnancy mistake” [44]

Brothers — Two paternal brothers who may not know her [9] — Lived with mom and “my brother” in Cornwall [24]

Trauma self-model — Detailed adverse childhood stories — “Nothing traumatic… just a food addict” [6]

Career and online presence

If careers had warning labels, Foodie Beauty’s would read: may pivot without notice; may rebrand mid-spiral; may open an OnlyFans, close it four days later, then live twelve hours on Kick while still insisting YouTube is home.

Channel origins (2016–17)

The earliest archived uploads are not pure eat-with-mes. Late 2016 is shopping and glam: Boxing Day Lush and Pier 1 hauls, mermaid eyeshadow on a budget, GRWM chatter—she is “not really a beauty guru,” just winging makeup while cooing at cats and living with “my boyfriend and I” [1] [1] [73] [74]. The brand DNA is already there: consumerist confessionals, anxiety about crowds, and a camera that never met a paper bag her cat wouldn’t love [1].

By mid-2017 the channel has a clearer product: mukbang + storytime. She credits a new intro to Mora Fox / Morifox, frames the main channel as mukbang rather than diet content, and announces she is shutting the weight-loss channel—because running “eat this mountain of butter chicken” and “watch me shrink” at the same time is, in her words, a bad idea [2] [2] [2]. The mission statement lands with characteristic grace:

"This is a mukbang channel So if you can't handle watching someone big eat something go watch a skinny bitch eat a salad." [2]

Late-night car binges (A&W, poutine, hotel parking lots at 2:30 a.m.) sit next to office-job return plans and family side-eye about junk-food eating shows [75] [75] [75]. Ad revenue is already a sore point: extra ads, annoyed viewers, and a defensive pitch for Patreon as the alternative people refuse [75]. Pre-YouTube, she still had a day-job origin story—first day “in my own office” with a fruit-basket welcome—later posted as throwback proof she once clocked in like a civilian [70].

Style, rebrands, milestones

The format that stuck: fast-food and restaurant eat-with-mes, home cook-alongs, true-crime / mystery packaging, Torrid try-ons, Vlogtober daily uploads, and long lives that treat chat like a second roommate. She has repeatedly insisted she is not a weight-loss channel and not “just” a mukbang channel—she is a “me channel,” prone to declarations she doesn’t finish, a “major character flaw” she said out loud while doing dishes [76] [76].

That self-awareness never stopped the pivots. Early 2021 community posts cycle through fixed upload schedules (Tue/Thu/Fri/Sat 9 p.m. EST), immediate abandonment of schedules (“I can’t do schedules”), Dinner & Mystery true-crime mukbangs (Stephanie Soo as touchstone), variety-show branding, and a channel rename to Chantal Marie because food-obsessed content felt like a death sentence [77] [78] [79] [10]. She had already flipped the name back to Foodie Beauty that same January after an earlier change [80]. Consistency is not the product; the product is watching her renegotiate the product.

Milestones she herself tracked: ~82k and ~85k subscribers, a planned 50k celebration mukbang with Peetz, a 100k special that lived more as ambition than documented event [81] [82] [44].

Platforms

YouTube remains the mothership brand—Foodie Beauty / Chantal Marie / couple channel migrations—while every other app is a side quest that sometimes becomes the paycheck.

Instagram (foodie_beauty_official, catalog fullName Chantal Marie): body posts, throwbacks, food, cats, political venting, plus-size fashion; she also ran a dedicated cat account @samandbbj [83] [20].

TikTok (@foodiebootay): promoted Feb 2021, then deleted days later in the same OnlyFans mess window [84] [21] [85].

OnlyFans (Feb 2021): announced as 18+ plus-size lingerie / dancing / storytimes, not “a sex one” in her October 2020 planning language; within days she was top ~13%, claimed ~$1,000 in three days, and was already sick of messages about “nipples and farts.” She hiked the fee to $50 to kill new subs, closed the account, and fought refund drama after leaks [46] [86] [87] [16] [88]. History’s shortest softcore career arc.

Twitch (twitchingfoodie…): live announcements into late 2025 [89].

Kick (foodiebeautykick): by 2026 the default live hangout—12-hour stream plans, doctor-update streams, “going live on Kick” community spam as a genre. She balances Kick and YouTube; “usually lives on Kick” but won’t give YouTube up [90] [15] [3].

Cameo: $20 sale posts; she still takes requests while joking she’s “a mess” [91] [15].

Monetization

She has described herself as a self-employed YouTuber with bookkeeping, business expenses (food, travel, costumes), and the full gig-economy side hustle board [46]. Named income streams:

Stream — How she frames it

YouTube ads / lives — Core; not every live is monetized; weight talk sometimes blamed for demonetization of a stream [46]

Superchats / gifts — Routine on long lives [48]

Memberships — Couples channel $2.99/mo; main-channel member early access [92] [93]

PayPal — Giveaways; sole YT donation path while demonetized [94] [3]

Kick donations — Easier than YT when ads are off [3]

Sponsorships — Teami Blends (code CHANTAL25); past Kasori-type deals; turned some Kuwait-era offers down over Canada shipping; HelloFresh denied as real sponsor after Twitter impersonator sabotage claim [48] [95]

Affiliate / referral — PrettyLitter, meal-kit $40-off, etc. [96] [97]

OnlyFans — Brief 2021 cash spike then shutdown [16]

Cameo — Flat $20 sales [91]

Engagement pay — Kick-era mod rules: “I get paid for engagement” [98]

By March 2026 she is blunt: “I'm demonetized.” Reapplying, grinding watch hours, working “for free” on YouTube, routing tips to PayPal, leaning on Kick [3] [3] [3]. Couple-channel monetization is separately celebrated as “back” in a 2026 Salah Syria narration video [99]. Disability-budget talk and Ottawa rent math later sit beside the influencer income story—if social media income died, she says she’d try remote clerical work rather than an office [48] [48].

Couple channel with Salah

Late 2022 launches the couples project: Syrian-style pizza challenge, “aiming 10k subs,” Assalamu Alaykum greetings, memberships, and deliberate migration of couple vlogs (including Kuwait Towers) off Foodie Beauty onto the joint channel [19] [100] [101]. A Dec 2022 mental-health break pauses trailer-only content, signed Chantal and Salah [102]. Thailand Q&As, bowling in Kuwait, Failaka Island tourism, Al Kut Mall movie dates, and anniversary seaside dinners become the export product [103] [104] [105] [106].

By 2024 she announces legal copyright of couple vlogs and copyright strikes on non-transformative hate reuploads—reaction culture meets DMCA cosplay [107]. 2026 content includes Salah IRL Syria streams and her narrating his return-to-Syria footage while she remains in Canada [108] [99].

Demonetization is not one event; it is weather. Content pivots track the same chaos: weight-loss channel → pure mukbang → “me channel” → intuitive-eating silence → variety / Chantal Marie → couple soft-travel vlogs → Kick hangout marathon → occasional YouTube storytimes from Ottawa on a mobility scooter. What never pivots is the core economic bet: people will watch her live her life—eating, rebranding, marrying, demonetizing, scooting past Blair Station—and pay something, somewhere, if the ads go dark. Nine years in, she still frames YouTube as the place she learned boundaries [15]. Whether that is wisdom or Stockholm syndrome is left as an exercise for the beeze.

Personal life

Relationships

Chantal has treated her love life the way some people treat a meal-kit subscription: recurring deliveries, loud unboxing videos, and the occasional product recall. Over a decade of mukbangs, lives, and couple vlogs she has named, nicknamed, friendzoned, proposed-to, married, nearly divorced, and then un-nearly-divorced a cast of partners—while insisting, between bites, that she is private.

Early partners and “ho days”

As a teenager she lived intermittently away from home (friend’s couch, later a group-home stint after her mother kicked her out over a “douchebag” ex-boyfriend) [63] [60]. Around age 16–17 she ran a multi-year AOL romance with a man she called Angelo, whom she catfished by claiming she looked like Mandy Moore; he, she later suspected, was catfishing her with a single blurry photo [60] [60] [60]. She dates her early online-dating era to IRC/chat rooms/AOL rather than Tinder—“Tinder wasn’t a thing for me” [109].

One of her first apartments in her hometown was shared with an ex she names James. They moved in “as roommates originally… we weren’t dating”; at the time she was dating Chris [110]. She broke up with Chris outside the building the same night a chaotic handcuff-and-tequila neighbor episode unfolded—Chris carried her downstairs afterward [110] [110].

She has described her early twenties as “ho days”: frequent hookups for void-filling and self-validation [17]. Named or nicknamed figures from this period include:

French lover / “Gaston” / Claude. Off-and-on, “womanizer/creep but hot,” strong French accent; met when he schmoozed at a party where her friend lived downstairs from his bachelor apartment [111]. Signature humiliations she has retold: an allergic-lube UTI; hiding in his apartment and witnessing toilet theater, shower karaoke, and purple testicles; a love letter with an explicit drawing he kept and weaponized; overhearing him call her “that fat girl” to a neighbor [111] [111] [111]. Real name Claude on a later live; she blocked him on Facebook so Bibi would not see messages and said she had told Bibi about him [26]. “Last I heard” he had been in prison/halfway house and might be a pastor—secondhand and not independently verified on her channel [26].

Rwandan / “Rwandese” lover. Met at a bar on her hometown main street while she was already talking to Bibi; she has said they hooked up concurrently and that non-exclusivity was assumed [112] [17]. She once answered accusations of promiscuity with a cheerful “yep” [112].

Unnamed computer-programmer / extreme hoarder. “Where’s Waldo in Levi’s” aesthetic; narrow path through Tim Hortons cups and Domino’s boxes; garbage avalanche during sex cut her forehead with a Christmas veggie tray [17] [17]. Concurrent on/off with the French lover she was “in love with” [17].

Alcoholic boyfriend (StarTech era). Hands shook; tried to bring beer into a taxi from a friend’s party; she later moralized, “You can never be with an alcoholic.” This was while she worked at StarTech and lived with Peetz before she and Peetz were a couple [68] [68].

Unnamed ~seven-year ex before Bibi. Sexually unsatisfying, “months without being touched”; she told him she was not in love anymore and immediately opened Plenty of Fish [112] [112] [113].

She has also stated she is bisexual (sexually attracted to women, romantically to men) and has had sexual relationships with women [114]; later she has framed herself as “mostly straight” with residual same-sex attraction—an ongoing self-label wobble [115].

Peetz — first romance, proposal, long afterlife as housemate

Peetz (Pete) is the longest-running male presence in the archive and the hardest relationship to label cleanly—which is, of course, the point of half the content.

She met Peetz in high school after a Katimavik-style Canada volunteer tour, in a writers’ class [17]. He has said he has known her since “like 2002” [72]. On a hometown drive she pointed out the closed restaurant Crush Lane: “that’s where Pete’s proposed to me” [17]. They have also been described as “locked with Pete” around 2010 in living/arrangement chat [115].

In the Bibi-breakup video she disclosed that years earlier, while with Peetz and on the pill, she became pregnant; both felt unready; they chose abortion—a decision she said “haunts” her and that she framed as karmic setup for later unhappiness [18] [18].

By her Plenty-of-Fish origin stories she left a long (~seven-year) relationship—sexually dead, emotionally done—and met Bibi while still separating from that ex [113] [112]. Peetz is later explicitly the ex she “fell in love with Bibi” after; she has also said she has “no romantic attraction to Pete’s” when planning to move back in with him [18] [18]. Living-together-as-roommates-before-dating appears in multiple past-apartment stories [116] [68].

Bibi / BB / Milan (Senegal) — the long public relationship

The canonical origin story is consistent across 2017 videos: she met Bibi / BB (later also referred to as Milan in 2020s streams) on free dating site Plenty of Fish, her first “real deal” use of online dating [113] [114] [112]. She was unsatisfied with her prior ex; went on POF “right away”; Bibi’s message stood out from “perverted” traffic [112] [112].

He lived about an hour to 1.5 hours away; university student (third of four years); high-rise shared with Senegalese (or same-country) roommates [113] [112]. First meet: gas station near the building; immediate make-out; elevator-phobia prank (he claimed ninth floor, opened a first-floor door) [112] [113]. She fell hard within about two weeks of talking/meeting/sex [115]. They eventually moved in together; apartment progression she listed as “other street” → one-bedroom → two-bedroom [113].

On her first major live she described Bibi as: from Senegal (West Africa); first language Wolof, then French, then English; Muslim; night security work (uniform not to be shown); together about six years from an April anniversary [12] [12] [12] [114]. She had not met his parents, who lived in Senegal [12]. She spelled the name B-I-B-I on stream [12].

As early as the March 2017 Q&A she said Bibi wanted “lots of kids”; she was ambivalent and would rather break up than block him from parenthood [114] [114]. Years later she still reported brief marriage/kids talks: “Bibi does want kids” while she doubted her mental fitness to parent [117] [117]. Engagement was publicly a joke ring: she bought herself a ~$40 sterling silver opal; Bibi said “if you want it to be”; she insisted she was not engaged [117]. She also said that if they married, he would have to propose [12].

He did her makeup for videos; worked long night/12-hour shifts; was private and “almost cold” on camera; ate carnivore-ish and disliked greasy KFC while she made West African dishes (mafé) for content [65] [118] [119]. She has said she gained ~80–90 lb over the course of the relationship [112].

In BREAKING UP IS HARD TO DO she announced the end of roughly eight years with Bibi: first five “amazing”; still love/care but not in love; incompatibility; he should find someone he can have a family with—something she says she is “not meant to have” [18] [18]. She cited depression/eating-disorder incomprehension on his side and her own need for attention [18]. Lease then said to run until ~October; she planned to keep the cats and possibly move in with Peetz as roommates only [18] [18]. Two weeks later she described the breakup as official but still cohabiting amicably—still sleeping together, “not really any… romantic love” [120] [120]. By mid-February she was filming “I’m single now” content and planning Peetz outings [109].

After moving, she messaged Bibi asking if he wanted to be friends with benefits; both concluded it could be “messy” [121] [121]. In 2021 retrospection she still framed the split as lifestyle incompatibility: she wanted to “travel and be a hoe”; he wanted a family [115]. Valentine’s 2021 community post: first Valentine’s single in 14 years [122]—a duration that roughly spans Peetz-era plus Bibi.

In 2026 Kick streams she contrasts Milan (loved him, not conventionally handsome; post-relationship “drugs and loneliness and desperation”) with Salah’s looks [123] [123]. In archive context this is her later name for the Senegal partner arc, not a separate documented husband.

Cheating admissions she has made in this arc: concurrent Rwandan hookup while talking to Bibi (framed as mutual non-exclusivity) [112]; earlier French-lover concurrency in the “ho days” storytime [17].

Peetz — roommate renaissance

Immediately after Bibi she apartment-hunted with Peetz as roommates: split rent, separate rooms, “not a couple” [120] [121]. Instagram captions of the period are aggressively friendzoned—“This is NOT a date. #friendzonedpeetz” [124]—while wine-and-dine and holiday content with him continue [125] [126].

On a haunt live Peetz snapped: “We’re not dating damn it people we are not dating.” She answered: “We’re pretty much like married, but just no sex.” He offered “lady friend / laddie friend” [127] [127] [127]. Elsewhere she calls him best friend, homeboy, “heterosexual life partner,” closer than Bibi [60] [128]; also “weird and icky” to imagine dating him, while needing to keep living with him [115] [115]. During Bibi years she already said Peetz and Bibi had never met and that dreading the meeting felt like “ex meeting my current boyfriend even though we’re just friends” [117]—a sentence that accidentally writes the whole Peetz problem.

Post-Bibi she used Tinder briefly, then hid her profile after discouragement, scams, and catfish fear [129] [130]. An undated community joke that a “boyfriend might be moving in with us” resolved on video as: she was considering a lifelike male sex doll, not a human partner [131] [129]. She also said she never used Tinder in some streams and was “in relationships forever”—contradicting the brief-use videos [132].

Nader (“Swordfish”) — sparse primary footprint

Unlike Bibi, Peetz, and Salah, Nader is almost absent as a named romantic subject in high-signal transcript and community extracts. What exists is late retrospective Kick talk:

• She recalls being on the fence between a Cuba trip and a weekend hotel with “swordfish” (indexed as Nader); at “Dee Dee’s” apartment he hid her keys and said if she went to Cuba she would not get them back [133] [133].

• Separate recollection: she left “swordfish” in the middle of nowhere because he was “freaking [her] out,” then came home and did shrooms [134].

No marriage, engagement, or multi-year domestic chronicle for Nader appears in the surveyed community-facts or Instagram windows. Treat this arc as thin primary source.

Salah — marriage, Kuwait, Syria, LDR, and the divorce that would not file

By late 2022 the archive’s community posts open a couples channel era with Salah: Syrian-style pizza challenge, Kuwait Towers vlog migration, Assalamu Alaykum branding, joint mental-health content break signed “Chantal and Salah” [19] [100] [102]. On-camera he calls her “my beautiful wife”; she calls him “my husband” [105] [135] [136].

A souk vlog notes the market area where they bought wedding rings (no filming inside) and a friend’s mahalabia dessert “in celebration of our marriage” [137] [137]. Kuwait apartment tour: wedding rings in a key/wallet organizer; “My husband is Syrian”; first Ramadan in the Middle East with him; he renovated while she was in Canada [138] [138] [138] [138]. Couple activities fill the Kuwait chapter: mall/movie dates, bowling, farms at Al-Wafra, P.F. Chang’s, Failaka Island [105] [104] [139] [136] [135].

She has said “Salah brought me to Islam,” while also claiming she was “always Muslim” with confusions—another self-narration that does not stay still [140] [140]. Hijab goes on and off “by choice not for Salah” in the same era [140] [140].

She has lived with him in Kuwait and visited/lived Syria contexts (Damascus mall while he does government-building business; IDF flyover claim; toilets, Eid, family house tension) [141] [142] [140] [140]. Later she is back in Canada / Ottawa while he remains abroad: video calls before his bedtime; “almost been a year I haven’t been with my husband”; last saw him “late October” in one stream; war-era travel blocked both ways [38] [143] [140] [3]. She has said Syria’s social density is “not really me” lifestyle-wise [3]. Finances are often separate after “moving back”; he helped when she lost her channel; his business remains in Syria [123] [123].

Scripted video APOLOGY TO SALAH AND FAMILY: she admits a cycle of getting mad at her husband, coming online, and talking; calls some of what she said “basically evil”; apologizes to him and his Syrian family; admits physical and verbal abuse toward him in fights; frames the video as not a reconciliation announcement while still saying she loves him [144] [144] [144] [144]. Same-day cooking stream: refuses to show marriage certificate; Salah still managing mod; not ready to unmod him [145] [145]. Nearby, she says Salah has always seen repeating numbers (11:11, 12:12) as soulmate signs [146].

March 2026 evening stream: “No, I’m not divorced and we’re not getting one”—he “didn’t turn the papers in”; she jokes she is “too irresistible” [3] [3]. June 2026: shows a photo of the marriage license (Salah holds hard copy); sold her wedding ring because she was “supposed to not be married. But you know that didn’t happen” [147] [147]. July 2026 Kick: hopes she never gets divorced; wants to be with Salah; if not him, likely single with cats forever [36]. Community post July 2026: “fair share of drama in our marriage” but stronger; growing old together “Inshallah” [148]. May 2026: “super handsome husband who loves me” [149].

In short: the marriage is the only relationship in the archive with wedding rings, a license photo, a couples channel, multi-country cohabitation, a formal apology video, and an on-again paper divorce that she says never got filed. If Bibi was the long Canadian security-guard novel, Salah is the international limited series that keeps getting renewed mid-cancellation.

Residences and travel

Chantal’s housing history is less a real-estate portfolio than a rotating set of cockroach metaphors, boyfriend leases, and international layovers. The map, in her own words, runs roughly: Cornwall hometown → Ottawa-area life with partners/Peetz → Middle East (Kuwait base, Thailand tourism, Syria sojourns) → Canada again, with a scooter where the car used to be.

Cornwall is hometown territory, not a content capital. Bio dad lived there during her teen crash-landing after mom kicked her out ~16; she stayed with him there before other friends’ houses—dad later in Windsor [5]. Years later she still talks about walking Cornwall end-to-end, planning rental-car pizza runs to see sister’s dog Marshmallow, and Ottawa-area streams that treat Cornwall as a day-trip gravity well [38] [36] [3].

Ottawa (and Ottawa-adjacent) is the long domestic chapter. Peetz wants partners who live in Ottawa; she name-checks Blair Bus Station, O-Train near a major bus hub, Orleans weather, haunted-jail hostels, Costco membership runs on a mobility scooter, and rent that only makes sense if you are either rich or in denial [150] [151] [3] [28] [48].

Housing beats she has narrated:

First apartment with Peetz: Brookdale Arms [44].

Budget apartment life: every building has cockroaches; current place compared to “Ottawa Arms”/Springfield-Arms energy; fire alarms; dirty underwear in hallways; dreams of a townhouse without bugs [44] [44] [44].

With BB/Bibi (~8 years, then breakup): shared home with roaches; lease end framed around October 2020 in the breakup video; she planned separate ways and considered moving back with Peetz as roommates only [18] [18] [18]. By September 2020 she is living with Peetz; the “old apartment” is Bibi’s [128] [128].

April 2020 “new place / new house / new room” with cats adjusting and cardboard still present mid-May [152] [153] [154].

2021 Project Home / downstairs living room / junk removal of the “hoard” [155] [156].

Mississauga / Toronto condo fantasy while grams was in hospital—move timing hostage to family [157] [157].

Ottawa General Hospital stays and teaching-hospital residents as local medical geography [119].

She has also done Ottawa tourism of the cursed kind: two-hour road trip to Buck Hill Road / Round Lake (Ottawa Valley), “one of Ontario’s most haunted roads,” and outdoor walks with Peetz when waterfront paths flood [158] [159]. Best Western hotel nights, NYE alone after family dinner, Peetz as overnight “roommate for the night,” and fantasies of May Toronto hotel vlogs complete the mid-Canada hotel circuit [54] [54].

By 2026 the Ottawa pitch is bleakly honest: she only stays to be near family; if alone she would leave; disability-benefit math does not cover the rent story she is telling [48] [48]. “I’m back in Canada” is a whole chapter title [3].

Passport, borders, airports. She has filmed passport-photo errands and expedited passport plans, fretted over ink dots on photos, and long framed border crossings as something mom’s border-town life normalizes until Canada finally demands a real passport [160] [56].

The big cinematic leave-Canada sequence (2023): last days at a villa, family dinners, rehoming cats, goodbye to the Kia, Montreal → Doha (Qatar Airways, delayed flight, accessibility help for heavy carry-on) → Kuwait airport reunion with Salah calling her “my beautiful wife Chantal” [14] [14] [14] [14] [14]. She says she needed to cut “messy” pre-God ties and be happier “not here… in the Middle East” [14] [14].

Kuwait is where the marriage-era vlog machine really runs: Al Kut Mall movie dates, bowling scores under “Salah and Chantal,” Failaka Island history tours, Bait Al Othman museum heat exhaustion, PetZone in Salmiya, Syrian grocery hauls, desert camping/cooking memories, Kuwait Towers content moved to the couples channel, Sephora lip gloss that later expires in Canada [105] [104] [135] [161] [145] [100] [3]. One-year wedding anniversary: seaside restaurant, shisha, towers/ocean backdrop, home flowers and Julia the cat [106] [106]. Heat is a recurring punchline: desert like a “hot blow dryer”; sponsorships declined because shipping to Canada was nonsense for a Kuwait address [48] [48].

Thailand: ~15-minute walk to Khao San Road, halal Indian food, then barefoot flood-walking after rain before a taxi back to the hotel. They avoided the street’s red-light/party reputation, then went anyway because vendors [162] [162]. Community posts tease a Thailand Q&A as couples-channel fodder [103].

Syria: She has lived in / stayed in Syria with Salah and later narrates his returns while she is elsewhere. Self-stated beats include village “Panorama” fair nights, street food, home chicken with Julia [163] [163]; Damascus mall day at Sham City Center while Salah does government-building business; they “live pretty far from Damascus”; Mount Qasioun closed; National Security Building she says Israel bombed [141] [141] [141]; lifestyle friction—olive oil and gas-fire pita nostalgia vs “pretty close to being Amish,” IDF jets overhead, squat-toilet pitchers, Eid/Jumma limited openings [15] [15] [142] [140]. By 2026 she does not really want Syria for her lifestyle; Salah “can’t even fly out of the Middle East right now”; she is in Canada while he films Aleppo/Damascus returns with Julia on the plane from Kuwait [3] [3] [99] [99].

Canada returns and the scooter years. After Middle East chapters she is repeatedly back in Canada—hijab + Pennington’s, Ottawa apartment, Scooty/mobility scooter for distance, Tim Hortons drive-through lives, summer plans with cat BG, maybe a rental car for Toronto/coasts, cruise maybe winter, Malaysia floated then uncertain [3] [3] [3] [151]. Visa/temptation jokes (“I’m keeping my visa”) appear in Kick chat as mood, not a formal immigration lecture [164]. Jordan is a someday wish because it is “really close to Syria” [38]. Montreal appears as food memory (Schwartz’s) and as the airport she actually flies out of [165] [14].

Place — Role in her story — Sample citations

Pets

The Foodie Beauty cinematic universe has always had better animal supporting cast than human supporting cast. Cats get Instagram accounts; hamsters get mansion tours; humans get “friendzonedpeetz.”

Sam / Sammie / Beezer / Baby Samuel is the franchise lead: male cat, “beezin’” brand mascot, “ONLY man I will ever need,” sink-dweller, snow lover, porch escape artist, Peetz-hug face, grocery-bag chonk [166] [167] [168] [169]. Community Christmas throwbacks feature “baby Sam”; fan art of Sammie gets official posts; he is central to the @samandbbj cat Instagram [170] [171] [20].

On video he chases cockroaches under the couch, loses porch privileges after a neighbor-ledge walk that ends with her yanking him back by the feet, escapes via broken patio screen / balcony jumps, and generally treats household safety rules as suggestions [44] [172] [173]. When the BB breakup hit, keeping the cats was non-negotiable; Jamaica with aunt was rejected because of them [18]. Later Middle East departure: she says she had to rehome her cats before leaving the big Canadian home [14]. Sam’s post-rehome fate is not given a clean on-camera obituary in the sources pulled here—only the rehoming claim and years of prior dominance.

BBJ / Baby Jeans / Bibi Jeans is the elder stateswoman: female grey cat, Nebelung-tagged on samandbbj, ~17–18 years old by March 2020, night-cuddle queen, Cheeto thief, witch-costume community star [174] [175] [176]. Caption energy: “Please live forever BBJ!” and “BBJ, you are the most beautiful girl in the world” [174] [177]. She feared BBJ’s death would “break” her; older-cat kidney issues were a running anxiety [157] [178]. Outcome she states: by July 2026 stream, casual memorial line—“goes to BBJ rest in peace BBJ” [15].

Timbit / Tim / Tim Tim / Timmy / Timbers / Limpie is “our 3rd cat,” tabby cuteness on samandbbj, stockings on Instagram, horse-piss loud in the litter box, limping nicknames (Limpie / Hobgoblin), Peetz’s “Timothy Chalamet” bit [179] [180] [181] [128] [128]. Origin story: she brought the kitten home for Peetz so they could get another cat; tiny tabby → fat success story [150]. Adopted from under a pile of kittens [23]. Like Sam, Timbit falls under the rehomed cats claim when she left Canada for Kuwait [14].

Julia is the marriage-era cat—Kuwait/Syria circuit, not the Ottawa beeze trio. She appears on the one-year anniversary vlog; shares farooj chicken at home; flies Kuwait → Syria with Salah, sedated, well behaved; remains a status anxiety object when Chantal is in Canada and Salah is not—haters allegedly offer money to “keep Julia” / turn him cruel; she panics when there is no news and is “just happy to hear that Julia is doing okay” [106] [163] [99] [145] [145].

BG / BG13 / Beegee Sersee / BGC is the 2025–2026 Canada reboot cat: rescue adoption; birthday corrected to the 12th not 14th after she found the original listing; one-year party planned ~5 p.m. ET; wakes her daily; drops wet dish sponges on her head; interferes with CPAP; free-fed crunchies plus hydrating pouches; dad claimed F5 Savannah, mom Siamese (breeder story as she tells it); mom thinks Himalayan/ragdoll; vet said “perfect” [182] [183] [3] [145] [48] [48]. Summer Canada plans are explicitly “with BG” [3].

Joos appears in a 2026 community post as “my baby Joos in her summer hair cut” [184]. Thin on lore, thick on nickname energy.

Hamsters: Harry, Howie, and the pet-shop return. The Middle East small-animal era starts with a community apology: they will “sadly have to return one of the hamsters to the pet shop” after cohousing sexes based on a shop owner’s advice; will buy a larger habitat, toys, ball; cats to the vet on return home; “YOU GUYS WERE RIGHT”; cites a Victoria Raechel care video [185].

Harry then gets a full couples-channel mansion tour: multi-level cage, wheel, tunnels, PetZone mango/papaya treats, gnaw sticks, “Chubby McMoose,” proposed hamster cam, apartment-sized setup [186] [186] [186]. Desert sand is collected for Harry’s sand bath [187].

Howie is named in later Kuwait couple vlogs: PetZone in Salmiya for preferred corn; museum cage jokes (“This cage for Howie”); “if I die, take care of Howie” shipyard bit [161] [188] [189]. Compacts note Harry/Howie may be the same animal renamed, ASR variants, or successive hamsters—she uses both names. When leaving Canada again she says she can’t wait to get home to “Salah and my hamster” [14].

Childhood baseline: hamster Chip (birthday gift) and pet Iggy both found dead after a Florida trip when a neighbor girl pet-sat—storytime blame later softened [190].

Household-adjacent: Mom’s cat Angelle [47]; sister’s dog Marshmallow [37]; family pet Buster aging/passing anxiety [3]; Casey / Shady in Peetz household orbit [191] [23]. She has also said she is allergic to cats while owning an empire of them—commitment, or spite against her own immune system [157].

Pet — Species — Peak era — Stated outcome

Sam / Beezer — Cat (m) — Canada 2017–early 2020s — Rehomed (group claim) [14]

BBJ — Cat (f, older) — Same + IG immortality — RIP [15]

Timbit — Cat (tabby) — Peetz household third — Rehomed (group claim) [14]

Julia — Cat — Kuwait/Syria marriage — With Salah; flew to Syria [99]

BG / Beegee Sersee — Cat — Canada 2025–26 — Living with her; ~1 yr July 2026 [183]

Joos — Cat (as posted) — 2026 — Summer haircut post [184]

Harry — Hamster — Kuwait couple era — Mansion tour; sand bath content [186]

Howie — Hamster — Kuwait couple era — PetZone / death-joke pet; may = Harry [161]

(unnamed second hamster) — Hamster — Dec 2022 — To be returned to shop [185]

Chip — Hamster (childhood) — Florida trip story — Dead after pet-sit [190]

Iggy — Pet (childhood) — Same story — Dead after pet-sit [190]

She once said she doesn’t know what she’d do without her cats [128]. History’s answer appears to be: get new ones, film them, rehome some, RIP others, and sell PrettyLitter codes in the meantime.

Health

Chantal’s channel has always been a body project with a camera attached. What began as plus-size fashion, calorie-counting breakfasts, and “journey” talk gradually accumulated a medical chart that could fill a hospital corridor: ovarian cysts, a pulmonary embolism, a total abdominal hysterectomy, sleep apnea, binge-eating disorder, fatty liver, diabetes, blood thinners, GLP-1 injections, insulin, and—eventually—a mobility scooter she nicknamed Scooty. Nearly all of it was narrated by her, often mid-mukbang, occasionally mid-ER wait, and frequently while promising that this lifestyle change would stick. The archive does not independently verify diagnoses; what follows is her own testimony.

Weight history

Self-reported numbers form a noisy timeline rather than a clean weight-loss graph. When she first got together with partner BB (Bibi), she later said she had been about “100 pounds lighter,” meeting him at roughly 339 lbs and dropping to a low of about 295 lbs before regaining over the following year despite gym efforts [192] [192]. By the late 2010s she was openly stating figures in the high 300s: 370 lbs while still calling herself cute [193]; clinic-adjacent weigh-ins include 369 on a doctor’s scale [194]; 371 when she “first joined/started treatments,” filmed weigh-ins around 366–368, a water-fast low of 359, and a post-walk scale of 369 that triggered an emotional binge [195] [195] [195]. A poll-driven Monday weigh-in gave 366.1 lbs, compared with 362 on March 25, with a then-stated lifetime high of 378 [196].

The ceiling kept rising. In a community post she announced 401.3 lbs, noting that her previous personal high had been 400 and rejecting diet culture, carb-cutting, and the idea of striking reaction channels over weight [197]. On Instagram she denied a “500 lbs” taunt—“I am not 500 lbs by the way ignoramus”—while defending that fat people can still know nutrition [198]. Clothing sizes tracked the same arc: 4X–5X tops and underwear, size-20 jeans waiting in the closet, shoes size 9 wide, bra 46D [192] [34]. A March 2021 Instagram caption simply read “100 lbs lighter” [199].

By mid-2026 the units had gone metric. On a Kick stream she said the last time she weighed herself she was 175 kg, and at the doctor’s she was 187 kg [123]—roughly the mid-to-high 380s and low 410s in pounds, depending which scale one believes on which day. She denied being 600 lbs while still living in a body that required mobility equipment and weekly injectables [123]. Early channel branding framed a need to lose over 200 pounds while addressing binge-eating disorder and food addiction [200]; water fasts, keto challenges, calorie-counted breakfasts, and anti-diet / intuitive-eating phases all took turns as the method of the month [201] [202] [203] [204].

In short: the self-reported range across roughly a decade runs from a claimed low near 295 (early BB era) through clinic highs in the 370s, a community high above 400, and doctor-office kilograms that convert north of 400 again.

Eating disorder / binge-eating disorder (BED)

If weight numbers are the scoreboard, binge eating is the game she keeps restarting. She has repeatedly self-labeled as a “severe food addict” and as having an eating disorder / binge-eating disorder, framing the problem as more than “just a diet” [195] [205] [206] [191]. A psychiatrist in an eating-disorders program told her not to focus on weight loss yet—“I only want you to focus on the binge eating”—after she admitted secret Uber Eats orders roughly three times a day, including 2 a.m. deliveries [72] [72]. She described binge urges as a fight-or-flight anxiety in which “all I care about… is to eat,” citing The Binge Code and Brain Over Binge as tools [67] [195] [72].

On-camera confessions include a hotel-parking-lot A&W binge framed as “when I binge it’s serious” [75], scale-triggered pizza spirals after only a two-pound “loss” [195], and the candid admission that she usually saves her biggest meal for mukbangs—except when bingeing [207]. She linked teenage starvation diets to later binge/restrict cycling [60] and treated depression as a binge fuel: eating as self-medication for pleasure and escape [208].

Professional contact was intermittent but real. Community posts announced a first ED-oriented therapy session, a dietician referral, and early work on intuitive eating / anti-diet framing while still “having eating disorder + health issues” [209] [204] [210]. Medication for appetite—Vyvanse—was presented as removing hunger so thoroughly she had to force food, and as the difference between bingeing and not [202] [202].

The structural joke of the channel is hard to miss: a person with diagnosed (by her account) binge-eating disorder built a career filming large restaurant meals, then scolded herself on camera for doing “very unhealthy mukbangs” while talking about weight-loss issues [205].

Mental health and medications

Depression and anxiety are not side characters in her content; they are co-hosts. She has described “crippling” depression and anxiety during a mental-health crisis, distinguishing hopeless “nothing matters” depression from layered anxiety that made leaving the house feel stifling [208] [208]. She argued that depression is a mental illness that “doesn’t mean that you’re always crying” [191], posted “Depressed and not ashamed” on Instagram [211], and told viewers after a breakup that she was unsure whether the depression was mainly situational or something deeper [56]. Partner BB, she said during their split, did not understand depression or eating disorder [18]. She has also used “manic” and colloquially “really bipolar” as mood descriptors without claiming a formal bipolar diagnosis; when viewers armchair-diagnosed bipolar around the OnlyFans era, she rejected it [4] [88]. A couples-channel community post later announced a content break “for Chantal’s mental health” signed with Salah [102].

Medication history, as she told it, is a pharmacy receipt with plot twists. Escitalopram (generic Lexapro) was restarted for anxiety after clearance from both a thrombosis-unit doctor and a psychiatrist—family doctor had worried about warfarin interaction [159] [159] [195]. She credited Lexapro with “really been helping” while also on Vyvanse during a keto phase [212] [212]. During a worst stretch off escitalopram and “in between meds,” she said she went into a psychiatric unit; trazodone at night and Wellbutrin were part of that crisis period, and she linked some meds to increased suicidal ideation when the cocktail was “all messed up” [159] [159]. She has described getting to a point where she “didn’t even really want to live,” and credited psych care with making life more manageable [213]. Trazodone 50 mg was prescribed for sleep while escitalopram moved to mornings [195]. Therapy itself was a revolving door: first sessions announced with requests for “positive vibes,” later emails to “give it another shot” because OHIP did not cover therapy, missed sessions for weeks while waiting for poutine at 4 a.m. [214] [191] [16].

Pulmonary embolism and blood clots

In late April 2019 she posted an urgent update: after severe shortness of breath and chest pain, an elevated D-dimer, and thrombosis-clinic imaging, clinicians told her there was “a blood clot on your lung”—a pulmonary embolism without leg DVT on ultrasound [8] [8]. She was started on twice-daily enoxaparin (stomach) injections plus oral warfarin, with weekly INR checks and vitamin-K food consistency rules [8] [8]. A nurse practitioner told her she was lucky to have come when she did; the clot could travel and be fatal [8]. She needed a wheelchair and could not walk without severe distress [8]. Family history entered the frame: grandmother with clotting problems and pulmonary hypertension [8]. She insisted the clot “didn’t start in my leg and travel to my lungs… It actually just was in my lung,” pushing back on the assumption that weight alone explained everything [8].

Follow-up was a multi-month medical soap opera. She reported pulmonary emboli still being monitored into the summer, daily nosebleeds on blood thinners, mild chest pain on exertion, and on-call thrombosis advice after a walk that left her in overnight chest pain [159] [159] [195]. An August lung scan / chart review described a roughly 14×10×11 mm lung mass thought related to the May PE, plus radiology language that raised ovarian/fallopian/peritoneal cancer concerns pending biopsy [206] [206]. Later she relayed that clots had mostly resolved except one lung spot that might be necrotic scar tissue [213]. Warfarin and greens remained a running gag—she limited high–vitamin-K kale and spinach while on blood thinners [202].

The PE arc did not end in 2019. In January 2021 a community post declared, in all caps energy: “My diet did not cause blood clots in my lungs. SAYS MY DOCTOR,” while threatening to stop sharing private health info [215]. Weeks later she returned to ER for low INR and shortness of breath, then reported she was OK with no new clots that episode [216] [217]. Years afterward she still referenced blood-thinner history and clot-related restrictions (including no birth control because of clot history) [15] [143]. Gyn-onc framing later held that large ovarian cysts pressing groin vessels may have contributed to clot formation—a medical catch-22 in which the cysts needed surgery and the clots needed anticoagulants that made surgery riskier [205] [195] [206].

Ovarian cysts and hysterectomy

Ovarian pathology is one of the earliest dense medical storylines in the archive. She described a hormone-related cyst history, prior removal with pre-cancerous/abnormal cells, and a major flare with two ~16 cm cysts (about six inches), one on each ovary, after fast-food triggers [119] [119] [119]. Ottawa General ER care included Dilaudid, CT imaging, elevated liver enzymes, CA-125 markers that warranted oncology follow-up, and discharge on antibiotics for C. diff contact precautions among other meds [119] [119]. Gynecologist oncologist follow-up escalated the plan: bilateral cysts reported around 17 cm, “borderline malignant,” likely total hysterectomy, open vertical incision rather than laparoscopic or da Vinci because of cyst size and weight [205] [205] [208]. She stressed repeatedly that it was not weight-loss surgery—viewers assumed WLS; she meant organs out [208].

The operation happened. In early December 2019 she was filming post-op: total abdominal hysterectomy with a vertical incision from belly button to pubic/FUPA region; serous fluid drainage that sent her to ER at 4:30 a.m.; staple removal; INR check downstairs; antibiotics [218] [218] [218]. She had had a prior laparotomy around 2010–2011 with a bikini-line cut and JP drain; this time recovery was framed as harder [213] [218]. One year later, Instagram marked the anniversary: “This was me last November. One year since my hysterectomy surgery” [219]. Pre-op depression about losing female organs, high-risk anesthesia concerns (including sleep apnea), and fear she might not “make it through” were all said out loud [213] [213] [208].

Diabetes, Ozempic, insulin, and metabolic disease

Pre-diabetes and PCOS were already part of her keto sales pitch in 2019 [202]. A1C figures she reported moved from 5.8 toward doctor-stated 6 during an infection-era recovery stream [55] [220]. By February 2021, after an ER visit for FUPA soft-tissue infection, she said her family doctor was concerned about diabetes with a fasting blood sugar of 14 (Canadian mmol/L scale; she called it “very high”) and wanted to start Ozempic for appetite, weight, and glucose [221]. The same update listed extreme fatty liver, bowel inflammation on CT, low B12, and a vow that if she kept going with health issues she “won’t be here for much longer” [221] [221]. Community posts around the same week described an injection that made overeating and processed food nauseating [222].

Later streams treat diabetes as established fact rather than looming risk. She described the conflict between binge-eating treatment (don’t restrict too hard) and the need to reverse fatty liver and diabetes; planned visits with a diabetic nurse and dietitian; and blamed “too much fast food,” not sugar alone [191] [191] [191]. Ozempic (and broader GLP-1 talk including Mounjaro) became a recurring character: weekly Thursday jabs with flu-like Fridays; slowed digestion; lost love for daily NY Fries poutine and hot dogs; periods of stopping because it made her “really too sick and depressed”; periods of restarting [15] [23] [123] [146]. By 2026 Kick streams she was checking FreeStyle Libre continuous glucose monitors on camera (e.g. 8.8 “in range”), requesting refills of Libre, insulin, and metformin, and still complaining that Ozempic helped blood sugar while making her sick and tired [123] [123]. Community posts asked for diabetic-friendly, no-gallbladder-friendly meals and shared post-meal readings (e.g. rising 7 → 11.1, fasting historically 14–17) [223] [224].

Sleep apnea, other medical issues, mobility

Sleep apnea appears both as a surgical risk factor and as furniture. Pre-hysterectomy she said apnea complicated anesthesia and that she would meet the anesthesiologist; she slept with a CPAP and warned that untreated apnea can kill while awaiting sleep-study follow-up [213] [213] [205]. Room tours proudly (or casually) feature the machine on the nightstand—“this is my machine my CPAP machine” [225]. Years later, cats become the compliance problem: BG jumping on the bed to turn the CPAP off with a paw becomes a recurring punchline of Ottawa apartment life [3] [146].

No gallbladder. She has long stated she has no gallbladder, with protein/fat digestion difficulty, digestive enzymes, urgent post-meal bathroom needs, and 2026 requests for “no-gallbladder friendly” meals [202] [226] [223].

Soft-tissue infection / “FUPA abscess” (2021). Community and video updates describe a large infected mass on the mons/FUPA, hospital evaluation for possible surgery, then diagnosis of edema-related soft-tissue infection (not a boil, not lymphedema), IV then oral antibiotics, and a same-week return for low INR [227] [228] [221].

Fatty liver, cholesterol, blood pressure, B12. Extreme fatty liver and enlarged liver on CT/doctor talk; elevated cholesterol and liver enzymes; BP spikes to ~180 systolic when severely unwell in hospital vs later 127/70s; low B12 addressed with nutritional yeast [221] [55] [220] [221].

Asthma. Confirmed in her telling after breathing issues; new prescriptions and puffers; shisha in Bangkok framed as surprisingly tolerable “even though I have asthma” [220] [229].

Back, disc, and pain. Lower-back “on fire” after walks, read as weight-related disc risk; CT language of lower-back disc degeneration; walks capped around 1,300 steps before breathlessness and “pass out” fear [195] [213] [230].

Bariatric surgery interest. She started a bariatric process then “dropped it,” later circling weight-loss surgery talk after therapy; waitlist/clinic calls appear in diabetes-era streams without a confirmed completed WLS in these sources [195] [191]. Open hysterectomy was repeatedly distinguished from WLS [208].

Mobility. In the PE aftermath she needed a wheelchair and could not walk without distress [8]. She considered a bariatric rollator with a seat for walks when her back and anxiety made sitting options scarce [205]. She has said she feels “disabled” [195]. Later Ottawa life without a car made a mobility scooter—Scooty / Scootie—central infrastructure: Tim Hortons drive-throughs, Blair Bus Station routes, Costco runs, mall groceries, sidewalk safety on broken pavement [3] [3] [151] [15]. Community notes when “Scootie” would not charge and outings postponed [231]. She has also rejected mobility shaming as ableist, including attacks on an obese person for trying to walk [232]. Scooty is not a prop. It is the logistics department of a body that spent years starring in food media while the bill came due in joints, lungs, glucose, and range.

Read as a single primary-source narrative, Chantal’s health story is not a mystery and not a morality play she will allow others to write for her—though she keeps supplying the raw footage. Cysts and clots forced major surgery and anticoagulants; binge-eating disorder sat in permanent tension with diabetes and fatty liver; antidepressants, stimulants, blood thinners, GLP-1s, and insulin stacked into a regimen that still left room for Kick mukbangs and Costco loyalty. Weight numbers she herself published climbed from the high 200s/low 300s in early relationship nostalgia to community and clinic figures at or above 400 lbs, then to kilogram weigh-ins in the same dangerous neighborhood. CPAP, scooter, Libre, and Ozempic became as iconic to late-era content as Torrid hauls were to early-era content. Every claim above is hers (or her posts’). The camera was always rolling. The labs, eventually, were too.

Controversies and legal / illicit activity

If you only knew Chantal from her own mouth, the controversies file would read like a scrapbook of self-reported delinquency, recreational chemistry, copyright tantrums, reaction-channel holy wars, and a long argument with the internet about whether she is a victim, a villain, or both. She does not generally claim a rap sheet of adult arrests. She does claim: teen theft, egging a house then snitching on herself, an “attempted kidnapping” she framed as rescue, false copyright strikes she later apologized for, a multi-drug youth résumé, ongoing cannabis, a brief OnlyFans that made a thousand dollars and a lot of mess, and a 2026 “wellness call” she insists was stalking with a badge.

Substance use she admits

On a 2017 live she listed a personal inventory with the breezy candor of someone reading a grocery receipt:

"Weed. I smoked some kind of weird LSD. … Sniffed coke, it did nothing for me. Ecstasy. … I never like did heroin or injected anything." [6]

LSD, she said, made functioning hard and reality feel off [6]. She also advised chat to stay away from drugs because they “did nothing for her” [6]—a moral after a product demo.

The full narrative package is the “Tuesday” / camping saga. At a Linkin Park–era festival she and a friend met a cocaine dealer nicknamed Tuesday (clients allegedly bought on Tuesdays); she says they were not into coke, but went to his place—described as a crack house—drank a lot, smoked weed, and watched him trade cocaine for sexual access to a woman’s nipple [233] [234]. Separately, on a camping trip a friend made chocolate “shroom popsicles”; she smoked what she called LSD or a derivative in a bowl, plus weed and alcohol—two “shroomsicles,” smoked LSD, weed, drinking—and called it the most high of her life, with tree-arm hallucinations and Pillsbury Doughboy paranoia [233]. Coolers of booze were stolen while she was in the tent; she thought the noise was a hallucination until the thieves flaunted the contents [233].

She has also told a later shrooms night after ditching “swordfish” in the middle of nowhere because he freaked her out, then coming home and doing shrooms and freaking out more [134].

Cannabis, ongoing. Weed is not a closed chapter. She has said she has smoked “lots of weed” [6]; preferred weed for pain over “chemical pills” [26]; age-restricted streams when smoking weed [4]; “Thank god for weed” [36]; “I know weed is bad” while still discussing it [142]. In March 2026 she claimed she was not smoking weed anymore—not smoking anything [140]. By August 2026 Kick, she was again talking THC, smoking in the sun, and doing a standing challenge before smoking [134]. The quit story, like many of her quit stories, has a half-life measured in streams.

Cigarettes and alcohol. She smoked cigarettes “for many years,” claimed roughly a year off with occasional social cigarettes still [235]; earlier, casino smoking-section era: “Back then I smoked so they had a smoking section” [39]. Alcohol appears as party drinking (Tattoo Bob night; camping; “had been drinking”) [236] [233]; later she has said if drunk she feels sick and it is not worth it [6].

Not claimed (in these sources): adult hard-drug dependency narrative, heroin/IV use (explicitly denied), DUI arrests.

Police contact and formal-ish legal talk

Childhood / teen contacts she narrates:

Egging: as a kid she egged a house after hearing other kids brag, felt bad, called the cops on herself; a female officer lectured her [237].

Teen kick-out: aunt said mom would call the cops if she did not leave the house during the boyfriend crisis [5].

Psych-cottage AWOL: went AWOL during a smoke break; staff called police; she heard sirens while on the phone with grandmother [64].

Dumpster night: last dumpster check, a cop around the corner; she thinks dumpster diving is not illegal but one can be told to leave private property [238].

“Attempted kidnapping” (her label). The Tattoo Bob party story is the legal high-water mark she volunteers. Drunk, she grabbed a ~1–2-year-old from a filthy multi-child room, locked herself in her French lover’s car, and only returned the child after a crowd threat; she thought “the police will understand” [236].

"So I kidnapped somebody. Well, yeah, I did. Attempted kidnapping." [236]

She does not claim she was charged. She claims later, secondhand, that the kids were taken by child protective services—and that she had been close to calling them herself [236].

*Threats of her legal action (not convictions):*

HelloFresh / racism impersonation (2021): an imposter Twitter account allegedly contacted HelloFresh accusing her of racism to sabotage sponsorships; she denied a real HF sponsorship and threatened legal action / Twitter bans [95].

Harasser with kids (2018): after deleting drama video, “of course I’m not going to call Child Protective Services” when “being threatened,” but would “look into a restraining order and legal recourse against her” [239].

Copyright of couple vlogs (2024): announced legal copyright of couple’s vlogs; strikes for non-transformative hate reuploads [107].

Death-threat email: knives/blood imagery, “we’re coming to kill your cats” / kill you—she blocks; lacks energy to report everyone in lolcow culture [220].

911 / wellness call (2026). Community post framing is pure counter-accusation: the “‘wellness call’ was not a wellness call”; she was last seen alive and well seven hours before the call; she never threatened suicide and “would never ever” attempt; condemns stalking/parasocial harassment [240]. She does not, in the archive extract, give a police report number or name the caller. She gives a sermon.

Theft stories

Claim — Her role — Cite

Handful of dad’s quarters as broke teen — Thief — [5]

Call-center plush armadillo “Army” (~10 years kept) — Thief; “Call the cops. I don’t care.” — [237]

Guy’s hat at festival — Thief — [233]

Stole MAC makeup back from klepto bathroom-mate in group home — Counter-theft — [63]

Mom’s Madonna Immaculate Collection CD as a kid — Took to her room; mom never asked back — [241]

Amazon door package (scale/stickers) — Victim — [27]

Movers stole $40 from purse; insulted mother-in-law — Victim — [110]

~$111 unauthorized website order / bank hold — Possible fraud victim; branch authentication — [28]

Coolers stolen on camping trip — Victim (while high) — [233]

The Army armadillo bit is pure Foodie: ethical line drawn at coworkers kicking a stuffed animal, not at stealing from the employer [237].

CPS-adjacent claims

Other people’s kids: Tattoo Bob household—kids later taken by CPS, per friend-of-father rumor; she “was so close to calling them” [236].

Her own threat posture: clarifies she will not call CPS on a harasser with children, after apparently floating it under threat (prior video deleted); pivots to restraining order talk [239].

Her own youth system: not CPS by name, but group home for delinquent teens ~16 after mom kick-out / psych path; less than a year [63] [64].

Platform bans, strikes, OnlyFans, and monetization drama

She has been on both sides of the copyright stick, which is almost elegant.

• Struck a channel that uploaded her entire video to “talk crap”; retracted the strike because she was getting threats [232].

• Later apologized after email with reaction channel Cupcake Vegan for Life [name slightly uncertain in speech]: admitted she had “raged false striked many times” out of anger to stop people talking about her; copyright is “legal not for spite”; retracted most claims [7].

• Community 2021: denied involvement in a reaction-channel takedown while welcoming YouTube crackdown on fat-shaming reaction content [242].

• 2024 couples channel: legal copyright enforcement against hate reuploads [107].

• Music copyright: muted videos, deleted NYE stream over music paranoia [243] [244].

OnlyFans (Feb 2021 blip): Planned as non-porn plus-size lingerie / dance / TMI storytimes; freer than YouTube [46] [245]. Community arc: announcement → top 13% in two days → ~$1000 in three days → sick of messages for “nipples and farts” → fee hiked to $50 to stop new subs → closed; content leaked by trolls; refunds after backlash [86] [87] [16] [88].

"I am already sick of onlyfans even though in only 3 days I made $1000. I don't like messages asking me for nipples and farts." [16]

Impersonation / sabotage: HelloFresh racism-imposter story (above). Privatized Instagram over nasty comments and daily fake accounts [235]. Warns viewers against third-party Discords: doxxing, cliques; she has no Discord; don’t use real name/photo [246].

Dangerous behaviour (self-described)

Teen suicide gesture (see Early life) [64].

Drunk “attempted kidnapping” of a toddler (above).

Camping mega-dose of shrooms + smoked “LSD” + weed + alcohol (above).

24-hour forced wake to reverse sleep—admits not healthiest [239].

Dumpster diving with cop nearby; considers starting a dumpster channel [225] [238].

Filming / driving / scooting lifestyle: endless car mukbangs and road trips; no archived explicit “I was charged with distracted driving,” but the format is the behaviour.

Illegal beer-in-taxi freakout about a boyfriend’s behaviour (she flags illegality of his move) [68].

Lied about Excel skill to pass employer test [15]—petty workplace fraud, self-told.

She does not (in these extracts) claim adult criminal convictions, weapons charges, or immigration fraud.

Cultural / religious controversies she discusses

• Early Instagram: Canadian gun-control praise; police-violence outrage; BLM / Indigenous racism posts; Capitol riot condemnation—“SO FUCKEN GLAD TO BE CANADIAN” [247] [248] [249] [250].

• Kuwait era: first mosque visit; removed niqab after learning she believed it was a hard religious requirement and later framed it as more cultural; impulsive community post; “not a traditional Muslim,” still learning; prayer with little Arabic; Salah showed prayer direction [251].

• Later: “I was always Muslim”; Salah “brought me to Islam”; took hijab off when fed up, put it back by choice “not for Salah”; confusions/questions normal; never said denouncing Islam; “Islam-police” chat over nails/hijab [140].

• 2026: self-IDs Sunni Muslim following Sunnah/Hadith [15]. Community: Assalamu Alaykum, Inshallah, Muslim-followers greeting [101] [252].

• Political 2026 posts: criticizes US president / invites Trump supporters to unsub; Gaza/“Israhell” children-casualties post [253] [254].

She treats faith as a personal journey she can reverse on camera—which is exactly what critics in her chat (and “Islam-police”) argue about. Her rebuttal is that confusions are human and hijab is between her and God [140].

Racism accusation (denied / attributed to imposters): Imposter HelloFresh contact re racism [95]. She does not, in the community extract, confess racial slurs; she claims sabotage.

Animal issues she addresses

Cats are central to brand (Sam, BBJ, Timbit, later BG/Joos, etc.). Death threats targeting cats [220]. Sam escaped balcony / patio screen; found in rain; fear of busy street [173]. Sam head stuck in bag handles—dangerous [239]. Plans to fix Sam to “quell the beast” [63]. BBJ: “if anything happened to my BBJ they… would just like break me” [157]; later “rest in peace BBJ” [15]. Hamsters with Salah: community post—hamster care fail, will return one to pet shop, separate sexes, larger habitat, cats to vet on return home [185]. Childhood: pets died while neighbor watched during Florida trip (Iggy + hamster Chip)—blamed neighbor then, unsure later [190] [41]. Viewer confessions boundary: no murder / animal-torture macabre submissions [255].

She does not, in these extracts, admit intentional animal cruelty; she does broadcast care failures (hamster cohousing, escapes) and grief framing that the reaction ecosystem has historically weaponized—which she answers by more cat content and “rest in peace” lines.

Load-bearing self-quotes

"Weed. I smoked some kind of weird LSD. … Sniffed coke, it did nothing for me. Ecstasy. … I never like did heroin or injected anything." [6]
"This trip is the one where I was the most high in my entire life…" [233]
"So I kidnapped somebody. Well, yeah, I did. Attempted kidnapping." [236]
"I egged someone's house... And I called the cops on myself." [237]
"I've raged false striked many times." / "the copyright strikes I was doing were false ones... out of anger" [7]
"I did retract it because I was getting threats and I just don't want to deal with that" [232]
"The 'wellness call' was not a wellness call so cut the crap. I was last seen alive and well 7 hours before that call was made" [240]
"I also never ever made threats to an attempt at taking my own life, which I would never ever do." [240]
"I am already sick of onlyfans even though in only 3 days I made $1000." [16]
"I never intended to really do it. I wanted attention. I knew that gave me power threatening that." [64]
"I was always Muslim." / "Salah brought me to Islam." [140]

Public image and online community

Her public-image doctrine is consistent even when her tactics are not: reaction channels monetize vulnerable fat creators, fat-shaming is ableist, audience “justifies” abuse via past lies, and hate content gets views [232] [256] [257] [191].

Charlie Gold is the named antagonist of a dedicated rant: mocked “tent-sized underwear,” weight/mugshot discourse; Chantal self-states 387 lbs; says she doesn’t care if Gold was arrested—she cared about mugshot weight ~310; will not make a channel criticizing someone’s weight-loss journey while struggling herself; has apologized many times for past scooter/immobility shaming of Amberlynn [256]. Later self-care vlog: “do I really give a fuck what Charlie Gold thinks of me no I don’t” [258].

She has criticized “AmberCon”-style pile-ons and reaction channels that “talk shit for a living” while someone said she eats in the car for a living [259]. She frames the GorlWorld reaction community as harassers/doxers/bullies [140]. Community: will not strike reaction channels merely over weight posts [197]—which sits awkwardly next to the false-strike confession.

Dog-crap doctrine: after Amberlynn-react discourse, email metaphor—step in the pile or walk around; she will walk around [232]. She does not always walk around.

Self-brand vs siege brand:

• Body-positive imperfect mess who gets daily ridicule but “helps” people by being open [260].

• Refuses diet culture / weight as public property [197] [257]; also runs endless weigh-ins and wellness rebrands—tension she rarely resolves.

• Filters comments; blocks Instagram hate-screenshot senders [256] [261].

• Fat-cringe compilations: “I don’t give a shit” [63].

• AI self-images defended; “super handsome husband who loves me” [149].

• Kick-era: paid for engagement, three-warning ban ladder, less trigger-happy muting [98]; haters report store filming so she gets stopped while others film [134].

• Same-city Ottawa obsessors: can avoid her; blames self-exposure partly on them [140].

• ~9 years on YouTube learning boundaries [15]—a claim that coexists with still answering every bait.

Political / culture-war image: Canadian progressive Instagram 2020–21 (BLM, anti-Trump, anti-Capitol riot) [249] [250]; later Muslim-married political posts and Trump-unsub invitations [253]. She invites unsubscribes as purity tests; the archive does not show her tracking who left.

Public image, in her telling, is a permanent siege by “reaction” and “lolcow” culture—sometimes answered with walk-away metaphors, sometimes with legal threats and copyright. The archive records both the siege narrative and the admissions that feed it. That is, again, the product.
